Reading

Okay. Reading is good for you. It keeps you from going insane. Especially if you're as addicted to it as I am.

Now let me tell you something.

YA publishers seem to be (as in I read a post of a post of a post to that effect)of the mindset that boys don't read as much as girls. Hmph! That insults my brother. And a lot of my friends. I used to raid my brother's books to find ones that I liked. I guess that's why I myself don't read as many "girlie" books.

Once upon a time it was girls who didn't read. Now it's boys? What's up with that? I think people just want to make us go in circles. They (I have no idea who they is, don't ask) need to stop that.

My sisters aren't huge readers actually. Drives me nuts sometimes but they seem to be happy with it. So I won't push it as much, probably since I'm 2000 miles away from them now. But that reminds me again. My brother. As in a male person. As in someone who was once a boy. Reads.

So anyway. Go read a book! I command you to! Or two! Or three!

And I will work on these books that I was lent and try to get Battle Cry of Freedom finished before break ends.

Oh and I guess I'll putter around with Secret Reader, yes yes female main characters. Deal with it.

  1. I'm the only read reader among my siblings sadly. My little sister reads Twilight, but thats really it. My younger brother hates reading and I cry inside when he mentions this. The others are all very meh about it. This is odd since my parents are readers and my dad is published. In that sense, I'm the only normal child in my family.

Any guy reading this, if you don't read, its only because you haven't found a book that you like yet. There are books about anything and everything, you will find one that you can enjoy, I promise!
