Happy New Years to everyone!
2009 was a weird year. It made my brain hurt. Here's to hoping that 2010 makes a little bit more sense. In other news I'm contemplating joining the website that makes a goal to write over 500,000 words in the year. Or maybe I won't. It's a battle that I must work out in my head.
Speaking of working out battles in ones head. I've been wondering how you could deal with knowing something logically but it doesn't add up in other ways. What do you do when logic makes no sense? I haven't figured it out yet. I don't know if there is a way to figure it out. Logically, logic is supposed to make sense. Now though it's making my head hurt. So maybe it's just that I am supposed to be illogical.
Yes, winter break. Bah. It's been looking up a little bit. I slept too long today though. What a way to ring in the new year eh? Though we did ring it in with a Blue Moon.
*sigh* I have way too many things to work out that don't make sense to me. I thought winter break would help but it's not. C'est la vie.
Still I'm hoping to polish Secret Reader enough to make it at least mostly publishable by June first. It'll be a birthday present to me! Now that I know Dawn has a backbone it may be a wee bit easier.
Righto. Enjoy this New Year. Speak out loud of only those resolutions you don't truly want to keep, unless you need help with them, eat lots of sushi and drink lots of your favorite beverage to stay happy. :)
