Okay. Final Fantasy XIII is awesome. Just throwing that out there. I have been watching a friend play it and I love the story line. I find that it has a different style than a lot of other Final Fantasy games but I think they have done a good job, at least thus far. I do not like how the battle system has turned to you having a game over if your party leader dies but other than that the system is great.

Chocobos are awesome in general but Chocobo Chick is the best in my opinion.
I have been playing Final Fantasy X again and I do have to agree that Tidus' voice is kind of annoying but it does have a great storyline. Just try not to play it around people who get in moods to make fun of everything. The connotations they draw can get annoying. I just wish I was past the tutorial part of X. I've played through it several times before and don't feel like doing it again. Ah well. At least it's new for my friend, ironically the friend who owns it.
Not to mention the fact that X has some of my favorite music. Ah music. I am a little sad that they used a new composer for XIII but I think the composer has been doing a good job. It took me a while to get used to the new victory sequence, I was so used to the iconic one from earlier games that I wasn't sure I liked it at first. I like it now though and I think the composer has been doing a good job letting the music help to tell the story.
All in all I am looking forward to finally being able to play Final Fantasy XIII for myself instead of just watching it be played.
I was going to make a post about the awesomeness of Final Fantasy 13, but I'mma wait until I beat it. I will make a post on the awesome musics though.
ReplyDeleteTidus does have an annoying voice, but this was the first Final Fantasy that had ever had voice acting, and its actually pretty good for a first time attempt.
The music is definitely hard to beat isn't it?
ReplyDeleteI know, it was a good attempt. I just agree with the person who told me that the voice was annoying. I don't think I would find it as bad if I hadn't restarted the game so many times due to moving and the like.
